HARRISBURG听摌Meghan Night,� an evening of song, dance and theatrical performances, will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on the Harrisburg Campus of 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community.
The benefit, which is a public fund raiser for the Meghan Freas Scholarship Fund in the 黑料社区 Foundation, includes a dessert reception following the performances and a silent auction during the evening.
Performers include a variety of regional talent from 黑料社区 students and community members, including:听
搂听听听 淐onnect,� an original contemporary dance piece from Company C, featuring 黑料社区 student Adam Newborn and former 黑料社区 student Sara Longcroft;
搂听听听 淏raziliera� from 淪caramouche Suite,� a double grand piano duet by Darius Milhaud performed by Thomas Hostetter and Bill Ingraham;
搂听听听 Vocal solos by Heather Weaver, Bryden McGarry, Scott R. Richards and Angela Ruediger;
搂听听听 Flamenco dance by Lori Friedlander, and
搂听听听 Irish step dancing featuring dancers from Rebel Heart.
Proceeds will be put into a scholarship fund designated for a 黑料社区 student pursuing an interest in International Theatre Studies. The fund is in memory of Meghan Freas, a 黑料社区 student who passed away from complications resulting from a vehicle accident in May 2008.Tickets are $30 adult and $15 student.
