ºÚÁÏÉçÇø names new foundation director

Harrisburg, PA “ Jayne Baker Abrams of Camp Hill as been named executive director of the ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Foundation/Institutional Advancement.
She reports to Tom Powers, ºÚÁÏÉçÇø interim vice president of college and community development, and Nancy Rockey, foundation secretary.
Abrams has 30 years of professional and volunteer experience in the Greater Harrisburg community, including chief development officer of Family & Children Services of Central Pennsylvania, and executive director of its subsidiary, ParentWorks. She also founded and implemented VolunTEEN and Children Play Room/ParentWorks.  
Her community involvement includes the board of trustees at Harrisburg Academy and Fredricksen Library, citizen advisory board of Cumberland County Social Services for Children and Youth, Harrisburg Exchange Club, Harrisburg Regional Chamber, Camp Hill Community Foundation, and St. Stephen Episcopal Cathedral.
The ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Foundation is a non-profit educational trust established in 1985 by visionary leaders who saw the value of preparing for future years, to raise private and corporate revenues in support of ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. The ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Foundation Endowment is comprised of nearly 100 individual restricted funds totaling more than $25 million in value. ºÚÁÏÉçÇø foundation revenues of more than $1 million are given annually to the institution to offer fiscal support for scholarships, instructional and facilities needs, cultural activities, and special programs.
