黑料社区's Lancaster Campus offers 'Living & Learning' seminars

LANCASTER History, art, agriculture, physiology, books and entertainment are just some of the choices in this spring 淟iving & Learning seminars presented by the Lancaster Campus of 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College.
Nearly a dozen different courses will be offered at the one-day event from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at Garden Spot Village, 44 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland.
淟iving & Learning includes continental breakfast, buffet luncheon and a selection of three 90-minute courses, ranging from Faberge Imperial Easter Eggs, how to exercise your memory, a book review on William P. Young 淭he Shack, music and historic figures to Renaissance Art and Pennsylvania farms.
The cost is $45 with a registration deadline of Monday, April 6. The luncheon will be served from noon-1 p.m.
The lineup of sessions and instructors includes:
Session I (8:30-10 a.m.) 淔aberge by 黑料社区 Dr. Donald Koones, associate dean, continuing education; 淵our brain can work at any age with Roger Swartz; 淧ennsylvania farms, Part 1 by Patricia Mountjoy; and 淓arly Renaissance by artist Fred Rodger.
Session II (10:15-11:45 a.m.) Choice of 淔aberge; 淭he spiritual beliefs of Benjamin Franklin By Roger Swartz; 淧ennsylvania farms, part 2 by Patricia Mountjoy; and 淢ozart Mania by Pricilla Howard.
Session III (12:30-2 p.m.) 湙The Shack: A book review by Dr. Donald Koones; 聽淲omen of the American Revolution by Roger Swartz, 淭he American musical by Priscilla Howard; and 淗igh Renaissance by Fred Rodger.
After reviewing the courses, participants should select one course for each of the three sessions, listing a second choice as well.
