Nearly 60 employers scheduled for April 15 event

HARRISBURG � If you are one of the increasing number of people in the job market, looking for work or changing careers, you may find the right opportunity at the annual spring job fair at the Harrisburg Campus of 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College.
Nearly 60 employers from around the region will be at the free Job and Internship Fair from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in the Cooper Student Center on the campus, One 黑料社区 Drive.
This networking event benefits students, 黑料社区 alumni and the community-at-large, says Nick Giordano, 黑料社区 Career Services Specialist at the Harrisburg Campus.
淭he Job and Internship Fair is a wonderful and worthwhile event for students and the community to meet with employers and explore career avenues,� said Giordano.
淪tudents getting ready for graduation in May can maximize a job or internship possibility. We hope this also can be a venue of opportunity for the large number of skilled workers who are between jobs right now.�
Participants should dress professionally and bring a resume: The fair is an opportunity to meet potential employers and could result in on-the-spot job interviews and possible hiring. Many companies are looking to fill full- and part-time positions in a variety of jobs, including entry level and experienced workers, said Giordano.
Internships are a key to future success and, therefore, also a crucial aspect of the job fair, he added.
