Free informational session starts at 6 p.m. Oct. 14

GETTYSBURG Students thinking about attending college can get the most up to date information at a free Get It Started informational session Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Gettysburg Campus of , Central Pennsylvania Community College.
The event starts promptly at 6 p.m. in the Robert C. Hoffman Community Room (130) at the campus at 731 Old Harrisburg Road.
This is an exciting time to be a part of the -Gettysburg Campus, said Heather Watt,admissions recruitment coordinator. We are seeing record enrollment at the campus as many students are choosing to start their college education at .
also offers opportunities for displaced workers and students looking for another career path. With programs that prepare students for a career or for transferring to a four-year college or university, there is something for everyone at , Watt added. Attending the Get It Started information session allows students and families the opportunity to learn about -Gettysburg Campus from many different perspectives within the campus community, including students, faculty and staff.
Information also will be provided on student life, clubs and activities; enrollment steps; financial aid; and English as a Second Language and Spanish GED classes, Watt said.
