Morning event brings host of opportunities for personal enrichment

GETTYSBURG Satisfy your thirst for knowledge and meet new friends at the 淟iving & Learning seminars presented by the Gettysburg Campus of 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College.
More than a dozen different seminars will be offered during the event from 8-11:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, at the campus, 731 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg.
淟iving & Learning includes continental breakfast and two 90-minute courses, ranging from history and art to green practices, plant folklore and understanding the four generations.
The cost is $30 with a registration deadline of May 11. Registration includes a continental breakfast, which will be served from 8-8:30 a.m. Sessions begin at 8:30 a.m.
After reviewing the courses, participants should select one course for each of the two sessions, listing a second choice as well. Session I (8:30-10 a.m.): 淟earn How to Crochet: Basics; 淯nderstanding the Four Generations the Matures, Boomers, Generation Xers and Millennials; 淕oing Green with Cereal Boxes; 淪ongs and Stories of Summer; 淧lant Folklore, Part II; 淟ydia Leister and Her Neighbors: The Aftermath; 淢ark Twain: America Writer; and 淭he Art of the Impressionists.

Session II (10:15-11:45 a.m.): 淟earn How to Crochet: Fingerless Mittens; 淭he Good Old Days: Life in the Sixties; 淕oing Green with Cereal Boxes; 淪ongs and Stories of Summer; 淗erbal Medicine; 淲e Suffered Also the families of Taneytown/Emmitsburg Roads; 淥ccult America; and 淭he Art of the Impressionists.
