Open house at -York Campus helps students get started on college, career

YORK Students thinking about attending college can get the most up-to-date information at a free Get It Started open house at the York Campus of , Central Pennsylvania Community College.
The event starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at the campus at 2010 Pennsylvania Ave.
This year guests can take a tour of the Leader, Goodling and Cytec buildings and see how much the campus has grown, said Michele Wherley, admissions recruitment coordinator. They can speak with our staff and students and find out first hand what has to offer.
Staff, faculty and current students will share information about attending , career options that lead directly to the workforce and how students can save by transferring credits to a four-year school.
Visitors can find out about the enrollment process, financial aid, scholarship information and how to get involved in student life, clubs and activities.
-York Campus offers English as a Second Language program and General Education Development (GED) classes in Spanish. Guests can find at more about these programs at the open house.
