Harrisburg, PA � Mifflin County students can apply for a scholarship to help pay for attending 黑料社区 this fall at Lewistown Area or Juniata high schools.
The Mifflin County Education and Scholarship Foundation is offering 15 scholarships, each for $300, that can be applied toward the cost of classes.
淲e see 黑料社区 classes as a worthwhile endeavor for higher education in our region,� said Jeff Gum, president for the foundation. 淭he scholarships can help our residents with their college pursuits at 黑料社区 right here in this area.�
The scholarships are available to Mifflin County residents. Juniata County residents are not eligible.
黑料社区 classes at Lewistown Area and Juniata high schools are offered through an association with 黑料社区 and the Community College Project at the Tuscarora Intermediate Unit. There are three general education courses available at each of the two high schools this fall. Classes begin Monday, Aug. 23, 2010.
At Lewistown Area High School:

At Juniata High School:

Interested students are invited to learn more about 黑料社区 classes or the scholarships at an information session scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, July 22, at the ComPass Building, 31 S. Dorcas St., Lewistown.
