HARRISBURG � More than 130 colleges and universities from up and down the East Coast will participate in the annual Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling聽(PACAC) college fair from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the Cooper Student Center at 黑料社区 Harrisburg Campus.
The free, public event returns for the 36th year to 黑料社区, One 黑料社区 Drive, offering information to anyone contemplating the many options available in higher education.
The fair will feature two seminars on topics of primary interest to the college-bound student.
Carol Handlan of PHEAA (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency) will lead the seminar, 淧aying for College.� Handlan will address the financial aid application process, as well as help students and parents understand the right time to start the financial aid process.
Liz Stager, admissions specialist for the Harrisburg Campus, will lead 淪electing the College That Right for You.� Stager will focus on topics such as how to identify a student area of interest and what different colleges have to offer.
Both seminars will be offered from 6:15-6:45 p.m. and again from 7:15-7:45 p.m., giving participants the opportunity to attend each seminar.
