HARRISBURG � Live at Rose Lehrman presents Dan煤 with its stirring and heartwarming Celtic holiday music celebration, 淐hristmas in Ireland: An Nollaig in 脡irinn,� at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, in the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on the Harrisburg Campus of 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College.

A pre-show party with tea, scones, shortbread and Celtic holiday shopping from New Cumberland Oxford Hall Celtic Shop will begin at 6:30 p.m for ticket holders.

Dan煤 is a masterful group using traditional Celtic instruments � flute, tin whistle, fiddle, button accordion and bouzouki � accompanied by exquisite vocals.

Direct from County Waterford, Dan煤 became a hit in its Ireland homeland because of the group authentic and high-energy performances and strong musical talent. For more than a decade, the acclaimed ensemble has performed to audiences around the globe.

Dan煤 program features music that pays homage to early Irish traditions such as placing a candle in the window as a symbol of welcome; 淭he Laden Table,� a Christmas Eve tradition in which families set the table with a loaf of bread with caraway seeds and raisins, a pitcher of milk and a lit candle and leave the door unlatched for wandering travelers; and a procession from house to house on St. Stephen Day.

The performance on Dec. 1 also will feature two dancers from the McGinley School of Irish Dance, in Lemoyne.
