Phi Theta Kappa offers help students who need a boost to accomplish their academic goals

HARRISBURG Help is on the way for 黑料社区 students close to completing an associate degree, certificate or diploma but are not currently enrolled in classes.
These students can find out how to get back on track by attending an upcoming 淐omplete to Compete event at the Harrisburg and Lancaster campuses of 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College.
淐ompleting your education can result in higher wages, advancement opportunities and personal fulfillment, said 黑料社区 President John J. 淪ki Sygielski.
Students from throughout 黑料社区 service region in Central Pennsylvania are invited to any session of the four scheduled sessions, including 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in room 204 of the Cooper Student Center at 黑料社区-Harrisburg Campus and 10-noon and 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, in room 222 of the Main Building at 黑料社区-Lancaster Campus.
At each session, students will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with an academic adviser to review courses needed to complete a degree or program. In addition, representatives from financial aid, registration, military and veterans affairs, and faculty members will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
淲ee holding this event to find out what we can do to help these students achieve their academic goals, said Shanna Boley, chair of the 淐omplete to Compete campaign initiated by the Alpha Nu Omega chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the honorary society for community colleges. 淲ee here to help, she added.
Students are invited to choose the session that is most convenient and register online at www.hacc.edu, then click on the campus (Harrisburg or Lancaster) and events.
