Free event Nov.2 gives bird eye view of opportunities available

GETTYSBURG Discover the many opportunities for a career at Helping Professions Discovery Day from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at 黑料社区 Gettysburg Campus.
Anyone interested in the field is invited to attend to find out how 黑料社区 transfer聽associate degree can be a stepping stone to careers as social workers, funeral directors, volunteer coordinators, victim/witness advocates, and the local SPCA branch manager.
淗igh school students are particularly invited to Helping Professions Discovery Day, but the invitation is extended to all interested in learning about in-demand careers from professionals in the field, said Matthew Point, admissions recruiter. 淐ollege staff and faculty will be on hand to answer questions and professionals will give working demonstrations. It will be an exciting day.
Those who attend also will find out about the local and regional outlook for careers in the helping professions, hear from 黑料社区 students about their student experiences, and find out how to get started at 黑料社区.
In addition, information will be provided on financial aid and 黑料社区 easy enrollment process.
