HARRISBURG 黑料社区 Public Safety Officers continue to cooperate with Harrisburg Bureau of Police in an ongoing investigation into an abduction of a female student reported at 8:30 a.m. today, Dec. 3, 2012, in the West parking lot of 黑料社区 Harrisburg Campus.
淎t this time, there is no immediate danger to the College community, said Todd Crawley, 黑料社区 public safety director. 淭he College community is encouraged to stay alert and take normal precautions.
Crawley outlined actions taken by the College to apprise students and employees of the situation.聽
淲hen I learned of the incident, I contacted city police for confirmation that the student was driven off campus and released in East Pennsboro Township, Crawley said.
淥nce city police confirmed the incident took place, 黑料社区 sent an alert to College students and employees who were urged to take precautions and contact campus security with any information, he said.
A second alert advised the College community of the description of the suspect as given by city police, Crawley said.
A third alert sent by Crawley said: 淧olice state that everyone can resume normal activities but to stay alert and take normal precautions.
