COVERAGE: |
The Academy, hosted by 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College, is offered by The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) to promote career awareness in high-priority advanced manufacturing careers. Academy topics will include:
Students will be introduced to the operation of a basic electronic circuit and electronic components. Students will work to assemble a working circuit.
Students will develop an architectural project using 3-D modeling software.
Students will be trained on the basics of metal inert gas welding on a welding simulator.听
Students will be introduced to the industrial computers controlling automated processes in manufacturing, water treatment and logistics operations.
Students will learn about advanced manufacturing career pathways, career opportunities and the availability of college credit in high school.听
