HARRISBURG � Youngsters ages 7-12 can experience the exciting world of green technology during a Discovery Day program at 黑料社区 Midtown 2 at 1500 N. Third St. in Harrisburg.
淒iscover Green Technology� will be offered from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 22, 2014.聽 The cost per child is $49. Participants will learn first-hand about opportunities in the green technology field and explore engineering with fun, interactive activities.
Students who sign up for 淒iscover Green Technology� will be exposed to numerous methods of green energy including pedal, wind, water and solar power. Water conservation will be discussed and students will complete a hands-on experiment with desalination. Waste reduction will also be addressed.
