Exhibit opens June 18
HARRISBURG, Pa. The Rose Lehrman Art Gallery at 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College, will exhibit photographs by 黑料社区 student Rance Shepstone from June 18 through Aug. 28, 2014. A closing reception will be held for the artist on Aug. 28 from 5:30-7 p.m.
Currently studying photography at 黑料社区, Shepstone has been taking photographs since he was sixteen years old. 淢y best photography work is about observations of nature, reflection and architecture, he said. 淢aking art and being aware of nature is definitely something my parents and family instilled in me.
The 淪ecrets of Water exhibit features the reflective properties of water, both the stillness and movement, as can be seen in the beautiful colors and imagery captured by the artist.
The Rose Lehrman Art Gallery summer hours are 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Thursday, or by appointment. For more information, contact Kim Banister, gallery curator, at 717-780-2435 or kebanist@hacc.edu.
