Not Too Late for 黑料社区 Late-Start Classes

Many students across Central Pennsylvania will return to 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College, on Jan. 19, 2016, for the start of their spring term. For those who have recently decided they would like to register, it is not too late. 黑料社区 offers late-start classes beginning Feb. 1 with registration open now.

Through flexible start times, child care availability, online classes and more, 黑料社区 provides an opportunity for traditional and non-traditional students, like Denice Austeel, to continue their education.

Austeel, a single working mother in her forties, registered at 黑料社区 because of the flexibility and convenience of class times.

淚've taken several Virtual Learning courses, which enabled me to work while taking classes, said Austeel. 淎lso, 黑料社区 is much more affordable than other local institutions, and that is a huge contributing factor for a single working mother.

Financial aid can be applied to late-start classes if eligible. However, processing time may vary.

黑料社区 Rose Lehrman Art Gallery Presents Rita Bernstein 楥onsequences

An exhibition of photographs by Rita Bernstein will be on display in the Rose Lehrman Art Gallery on the Harrisburg Campus of 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College, from Feb. 19 through April 1, 2016.

A lecture will be held on Feb. 25 at 5:30 p.m. in Whitaker Hall 214. The lecture, led by Bernstein, will be followed by a reception in the gallery from 6-7:30 p.m.

Bernstein images are varied 渟napshots created by applying liquid silver emulsion to delicate Japanese gampi paper. The process demands a high level of skill yet remains uncertain and unexpected.听With the fragility of the paper, it is difficult to produce a flawless print or make a print that is identical to an earlier one.

Bernstein exhibitions have been reviewed in many publications, including Black and White, The Boston Globe, Lenswork, The New York Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Photo Review.

Rose Lehrman Art Gallery hours are Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-7 p.m. or by appointment. For more information, please contact Shawn Williams at smwillia@hacc.edu听 or 717-780-2478 and visit the gallery on 黑料社区 website and on .

The Rose Lehrman Art Gallery receives state arts funding support through a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the commonwealth, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
