黑料社区 Lancaster Campus to Host Annual 5K Run
LANCASTER, Pa. � Join 黑料社区 Lancaster Campus for the fourth annual 5K Wellness Run on Oct. 8, 2016, at 9:15 a.m., rain or shine, on the campus grounds.
听
Proceeds benefit 黑料社区 Lancaster Campus Wellness Scholarships for students with unmet financial need who are enrolled in a physical education, health and/or nutrition class.
听
Registration is $20. Check-in and late registration on race day is 7:45-8:30 a.m. The run is open to all. Parking is free.
听

PUSH Physical Theatre Comes to Live at Rose Lehrman
HARRISBURG, Pa. � New York-based will bring gravity-defying acrobatics and physical storytelling to the stage at Live at Rose Lehrman on Oct. 6, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. in the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on the Harrisburg Campus of 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College.
听
Creating touching performances for all ages to enjoy, PUSH Physical Theatre teaches lessons for life by empowering learners of all ages to use physical theatre to tell their own stories.
听
The group has collaborated with the and听, completed a tour of Mexico and the U.S. and was season finalist in TruTV national series, 淔ake Off.�
听
Show sponsors include the 黑料社区 Foundation, 黑料社区 Student Government Association and The Rose Lehrman Arts Fund of The Foundation For Enhancing Communities.

The media sponsor is ABC27. This program is also supported by a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

New Art Exhibits to Open at 黑料社区 Galleries
HARRISBURG, Pa. � Art exhibits opening in October 2016 at the Harrisburg Campus of 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College, include 淩ecent Works� by Sean McConnor in the Rose Lehrman Art Gallery and 淏ranching Patterns� by Emily Hampson in the Fen锚tre Gallery at 黑料社区 Midtown Trade and Technology Center.
听 听
McConnor, a renowned painter whose works have been exhibited in numerous national and regional exhibitions, finds inspiration through simple arrangements of everyday objects including flowers and household items.
听
He will give a free public lecture on Oct. 20 at 5:30 p.m. in Whitaker Hall, Room 214, at 黑料社区 Harrisburg Campus followed by an artist reception in the Rose Lehrman Art Gallery.
听
McConnor, a professor of art at Thiel College, Greenville, Pennsylvania, teaches all levels of painting and drawing.
听 听
黑料社区 Hampson of Harrisburg says her ceramics are inspired by nature and resemble vein-like systems, which she calls 渂ranching patterns.�
听
The public is invited to attend an artist reception in Fen锚tre Gallery on Oct. 21 from 6-8 p.m.听
听
The art galleries at 黑料社区 received state arts funding support through a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth, and from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
听

黑料社区 Theatre Presents 楢t Home at the Zoo�
HARRISBURG, Pa. � 黑料社区 Theatre will present Edward Albee 淎t Home at the Zoo,� a well-crafted combination of Albee 淭he Zoo Story� and 淗omelife.� Performances are scheduled Oct. 20-22, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. in the Studio Theatre of the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on 黑料社区 Harrisburg Campus.
听
淎t Home at the Zoo� is a twisted story about the hardships of relationships, and focuses on a failing marriage and the reality of mental illness. When the lead couple marriage starts to falter, a stranger appears and reveals the harsh truth of the loneliness of humanity.
听
淎t Home at the Zoo� is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York, and is directed by Dave Olmsted, 黑料社区 scenic designer and theatre instructor.
听
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, employees听and seniors for performances on Oct. 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 23 at 2 p.m.
听
黑料社区 students are invited to a 淪tudent Night� performance on Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. All seats for this performance are $5 with valid student identification.
