听
You can take advantage of one of these new programs coming in fall 2016 to 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College.
Registration is open now for all classes, which start Aug. 29, 2016, at all campuses and online.

Please see details below to find out more about these additions to 黑料社区 lineup of more than
120 programs.

Associate in Applied Science in wellness and health promotion
听
The fully online associate degree in wellness and health promotion allows students to choose a specific focus: workplace wellness or community health. With a focus on workplace wellness, students will be prepared to design and implement wellness programs for both employers and employees using effective communication and program marketing skills. Students who choose community health will be prepared to be health advocates within health agencies and healthcare systems, as they connect individuals to available services and resources within their respective communities.
听
All students will be prepared to complete a professional health coaching certification upon graduation.
听
淲e see a great value for adding this curriculum to our
list of online programs. Increases in obesity rates, heart disease and diabetes, along with an aging population and workforce, demand the need for well-trained professionals and high-quality wellness and health promotion programming, said Amy Withrow, executive director of Virtual Learning.

Architectural Technology diploma
听
As online options continue to increase, high school students can enroll in a fully online program focused on architectural technology to earn 18 college credits. Students will be required to take two classes in January of their junior year and two classes each in August and January of their senior year. Prerequisites and placement testing are not required to get started.
听
Completing the Architectural Technology diploma allows graduates to enter the workforce after high school or continue their education and complete a
certificate or
associate degree in architectural technology, earn an associate degree in
architecture or complete an associate degree in
building construction management at 黑料社区.
听
Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) in theatre
听
The Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) in theatre is an expanded degree that replaces 黑料社区 Associate in Arts in theatre and offers more opportunities for students to gain specific skills.
听
With more theatre electives to choose from, students enrolled in the new program offered at 黑料社区 Harrisburg Campus will design their area of concentration and focus on acting or technical theatre. Students will still be able to transfer credits to a four-year college or pursue an entry-level position in a theatre venue.
听
淭he Associate in Arts in theatre was created as a transfer degree with the intent that graduating students would pursue a bachelor degree in theatre. However, many of our students seek entry-level positions in the performing arts immediately upon graduation. To better prepare our students for the workforce, our AFA is very similar to conservatory training, said Brenda Eppley, MFA, professor of theatre.
听
Theatre students also will gain performance and technical skills working in professionally mounted productions in two theatres on the Harrisburg Campus and build their resumes through internships with professional and regional theatres.听
听
淥ur faculty are working actors, technicians and designers who are passionate about ensuring their students receive skills that prepare them for a career in the industry, said Eppley.
