黑料社区 Looks to the Future with New Coding Curriculum

May 25, 2017
HARRISBURG, Pa. 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College, is partnering with Apple to offer a new coding curriculum for students beginning in fall 2017. The program will initially be offered as one of the College noncredit Workforce Development and Continuing Education trainings, with possible credit courses planned for the future.

The course will be based on Apple 淎pp Development with Swift program and will make it easy for individuals to learn how to design, code, test and deploy apps. Students who enroll in and successfully complete the program will have marketable skills that can be applied in a variety of job settings.听

淥ur goal at 黑料社区 is to provide accessible education for everyone, said Amy Withrow, executive director, Virtual Learning. 淲e are excited to provide this new opportunity for students and prepare them to enter the booming technology and coding field.

黑料社区 is among a handful of community colleges in the country participating in the new curriculum. The College has embraced cutting-edge technology and benefited from a long partnership with Apple. 黑料社区 launched a series of iTunesU courses in 2012 that continue to be some of the most-accessed courses on the site.
