Learn to Navigate State Emerging Medical Cannabis Industry at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø
HARRISBURG, Pa. “ A comprehensive look at Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Act (Act 16) is at the heart of a weekend course offered by the and
ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, Central Pennsylvania Community College.
Sessions will be held Nov. 2, 2018, from 4:30-8:30 p.m., and Nov. 3, 2018, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Midtown Trade and Technology Center, Midtown 2, Room 204, 1500 N. Third St., Harrisburg.
Participants will learn about:
- Development of the medical cannabis industry in Pennsylvania
- Careers in the industry
- Federal and state law relating to medical cannabis
- Skills to operate a dispensary or run a grower/processor business
- Interactions between healthcare providers and patients
- The importance of patient advocacy
Pennsylvania Medical Cannabis Society co-founder Russ Cersosimo and Patrick Nightingale, executive director, will lead the sessions.

HARRISBURG, Pa. “ Members of the local law enforcement community, along with family and friends, recently celebrated the graduation of 29 cadets from the 113
th municipal Police Academy at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, Central Pennsylvania Community College.

Cadets receive their training at theÌýSenator Jeffrey E. Piccola Law Enforcement Complex of theÌýSenator John J. Shumaker Public Safety Center (PSC). ºÚÁÏÉçÇø
Police Academy is the second largest in Pennsylvania with two 25-week, full-time basic training courses and a 48-week, part-time basic training course mandated by the Municipal Police Officers™ Education and Training Commission for all Pennsylvania municipal police officers.Ìý
Several of the graduating cadets received outstanding achievement awards during the ceremony held June 25, 2018, at the Dauphin County Technical School. The 113
