HARRISBURG, PA. “ Maya Green, MHR, a Harrisburg native, joined ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, Central Pennsylvania Community College, on June 7, 2021, as the College executive director of employee relations.

Green specializes in organizing and leading teams, personnel and policy development, manpower and organizational development, and strategic planning. She previously served as a major in the U.S. Air Force in various roles, including senior advisor in Bosnia, Iraq and Germany.

Green, a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., holds a master degree in human relations from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma, and is currently enrolled in the senior professional in human resources certification program through Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York.Ìý

Cardenas is a faculty member in the Nursing Program at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, Central Pennsylvania Community College, and is program manager of quality and patient safety outcomes at Penn State Health Medical Group Academic Practice Division.

She earned her doctor of nursing practice (DNP) from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., master degree in nursing from Widener University in Chester and bachelor degree in nursing from Albright College in Reading. Cardenas is a graduate of the PSNA Legislative Ambassador Program, was a member of the PSNA Government Relations Committee and Nominating Committee and served as PSNA vice president and secretary. She was also secretary of the Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania.ÌýÌýÌýÌý
