HARRISBURG, Pa. � The Board of Trustees at 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College, announced an update on the College presidential search during their June 3, 2025, meeting.
The search for 黑料社区 eighth president has been extended. John J. 淪ki� Sygielski, MBA, Ed.D., will remain in his role as president and CEO until June 30, 2026, or until his successor is hired - whichever date occurs first.
淪electing a president is one of the most important decisions our Board will make, and we are committed to getting it right,� said Thomas B. Richey, chairman of 黑料社区 Board of Trustees. 淲hile we had hoped to complete the process by now, we have not yet identified a candidate who aligns with the College core values and long-term vision. We will keep searching to ensure that we find the right leader to continue 黑料社区 mission of serving as a gateway to student success and opportunity. In the meantime, we are grateful and honored that Dr. Ski has agreed to continue as president and CEO.澛�
淪erving 黑料社区 for almost 14 years has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I remain committed to the College continued success. At the request of the Board, I am happy to delay my retirement and continue to serve as president and CEO,� said Sygielski.
