HARRISBURG, Pa. - 黑料社区, Central Pennsylvania Community College, and hosted a partnership showcase for elected officials, community leaders and 黑料社区 students and instructors at the College Midtown 1 Building on April 21, 2025.

The event included an overview of the Johnson Controls Scholars Program, which provides scholarships, emergency assistance funding and valuable industry connections for 黑料社区 students enrolled in specific skilled trades programs. Since 2023, 黑料社区 has received $200,000 in funding through the . 听

"We are already seeing a return on this investment through the quality of the students graduating and I'm excited to watch as these talented individuals grow in their career.

Additional individuals who spoke during the event included Paul Arciba, 黑料社区 student and Johnson Controls Scholar; Rep. Nate Davidson (HD-103); Joe Emrich, portfolio leader, HVAC mechanical solutions at Johnson Controls; Rep. Justin C. Fleming (HD-105); and Sen. Patty Kim (D-15).

Event attendees toured 黑料社区 Midtown 1 Building and engaged with students and instructors. The facility is the primary training location for many of 黑料社区 skilled trades programs, including electrical technology, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and welding.
